Job summary

Goldsworth Primary School in Woking is seeking a dedicated support assistant to complement the class teacher and Inclusion Leader. You will provide both academic and emotional support for our children, working one-to-one, in pairs, or small groups, and assisting during lunchtime.

We value a positive, patient and nurturing approach, with the confidence to manage challenging situations and contribute fully to school life as part of a supportive team.

Job description

Working closely with and supported by the class teacher and and experienced Inclusion Leader and SENCO, your role will provide additional academic and emotional support for our children. The work may include a mixture of one to one and paired or small group work, both in and out of the classroom setting, general classroom support duties and lunchtime supervision.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8:20 am to 15:20. In addition, on Friday there is a Team meeting from 15:30 to 16:00.
