This incredible specialist school is looking for a dedicated Class room support Assistant to join our skilled and compassionate team.

This specialist provision is a large and welcoming special school catering for students aged 2 to 19 years with a diverse range of SEND needs. They provide individualised learning and care, ensuring every student belongs to a nurturing and rewarding community. This award winning and passionate team includes highly skilled teaching staff and a strong multi-disciplinary team, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, specialist school nurses, and physiotherapists. Together, they deliver a creative and personalised curriculum, empowering students to achieve their full potential.

In this role, you will support students one-on-one or in small groups to help them engage in learning. You will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to provide holistic care and assist in delivering a creative and inclusive curriculum. Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence, and life skills is a key part of the role, as is supporting pupils with complex learning needs, physical disabilities, and communication challenges.

We are looking for a caring, patient, and positive individual with a passion for supporting SEND students. Experience working with children or young people is desirable, and experience in SEND is a bonus. The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment and someone who is adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn.

Skills and experience needed for this role:
