Job summary

Milk Education is working with a supportive primary school in Newcastle to recruit a dedicated Classroom Learning Assistant for a full-time role starting in September 2026. You will support pupils across the primary age range and work closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, reinforcing literacy and numeracy, assisting with resources, and helping children develop confidence and resilience in a caring setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is desirable.
• Experience in a school, nursery, childcare or youth setting would be beneficial.
• Patient, enthusiastic and adaptable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to build positive relationships with children.
• Passionate about helping pupils reach their potential.
