Job summary

Salhouse CofE Primary School in Norfolk is seeking a part-time classroom assistant to support Reception and Year 1 pupils. The role offers term-time hours plus one week for the CA and 5 hours for MSA, with a focus on nurturing a safe, family-friendly learning environment.

Candidates should be able to meet individual needs, celebrate each child’s uniqueness, and manage challenging behaviour while maintaining high expectations for learning and conduct.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Early Years curriculum is preferred.

• Salary – CA Scale C £13.26 and MSA £12.85 per hour
• Permanent
• Part Time (M-F)
• CA – 25 hours per week, Term Time plus 1 week
• MSA – 5 hours per week, Term Time only
• Required as soon as possible

We wish to appoint a classroom assistant to join our successful school supporting children in our reception/Year 1 class. Our school is a child centred and family friendly school where children feel safe and happy and where everyone shares a love of learning.
