Smart Teachers is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Westminster. The role runs Oct 2026 to July 2027, with a daily rate of £97-£100.
You will support children academically and pastorally, assist with safeguarding, and communicate with the school SENDCO/DSL as required. Experience with SEN and behaviour management is preferred, within a collaborative team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant who is driven and committed in supporting children that need extra help and support in class both academically and pastorally . The ideal Teaching Assistant would have experience of supporting those that may hail from backgrounds of trauma , and be skilled in de-escalating and regulating behaviour. Teaching Assistants will need to be well-versed in the safeguarding of children/child protection, and must be able to communicate effective with the school SENDCO/DSL where necessary.
