Job summary

Protocol Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Bath, seeking a dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join their team this September. You’ll support pupils during lessons, work with teachers to deliver an inclusive classroom, and help promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment.

The school values every child as an individual and welcomes additional language skills. You’ll need experience with children, patience, strong communication, and the ability to support

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in schools, nurseries, clubs, childcare settings.
  • Patient, resilient and approachable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support pupils with learning needs including SEND, SEMH or EAL.
  • Enjoy collaborating as part of a team.
  • Passion for helping children reach their potential.
  • Additional language skills are advantageous but not essential.

What You'll Be Doing

What We Need to Clear You
  • A valid passport or evidence of your right to work in the UK
  • Two recent proofs of address
  • An up-to-date CV covering the last 10 years of employment and/or education history, with any gaps explained
  • An overseas police check if you have lived outside the UK for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Our team will support you through every stage of the compliance process.
