ASI Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Experienced Classic Car Upholsterer / Coach Trimmer to join a specialist restoration business based in the UK. You will work hands-on on high-end and historically significant classic vehicles, focusing on precise workmanship and flawless interiors.

The role requires experience in vehicle upholstery or coach trimming, proficiency with industrial sewing machines, and the ability to work both independently and within a small team on multiple ongoing projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle upholstery or coach trimming.
• Careful attention to detail and high workmanship standards.
• Experience restoring or repairing vehicle interiors.
• Confident using industrial sewing machines.
• Experience working with bespoke or high-end products.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in classic cars and historically accurate restoration.
• Carpentry experience useful but not essential.

Experienced Classic Car Upholsterer / Coach Trimmer

A specialist classic car business is looking for an experienced Upholsterer / Coach Trimmer to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on role working on high-end and historically significant classic vehicles, where attention to detail and quality of workmanship are important.

What you'll be doing:

• Vehicle upholstery and coach trimming
• Restoring, repairing and refurbishing existing interiors
• Working with bespoke and high-end materials
• Using industrial sewing machines
• Fitting and finishing upholstery to a high standard
• Identifying and resolving fitting or finishing issues
• Working on multiple projects while meeting deadlines

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in vehicle upholstery or coach trimming
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Experience restoring or repairing vehicle interiors
• Confident using industrial sewing machines
• Experience working on bespoke or high-end products
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• An interest in classic cars and historically accurate restoration
• Carpentry experience would be useful but isn't essential
