JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Class Teacher with QTS qualification, excellent organisational and IT skills, and a commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of all students.

As the Class Teacher, you will work as part of a passionate team dedicated to providing the best experience for students. You will be committed to high-standard teaching and maintaining a healthy, comfortable environment.

You will be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in your class, collaborating with learners, parents/families, governors, staff, and external agencies to serve the best interests of pupils.

DUTIES

Your responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the curriculum relevant to the age and ability group/subject(s)
  • Preparing and developing teaching materials, programmes, and pastoral arrangements
  • Assessing pupils’ capabilities and prior knowledge to plan differentiated teaching that builds on these, demonstrating understanding of how pupils learn
  • Creating a safe, purposeful, and stimulating environment rooted in mutual respect, with fair discipline strategies using praise, sanctions, and rewards

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant or allied subject
  • Genuine passion for lifelong learning
  • Belief in the potential of every student
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and responsibility
  • Motivation to work hard, embrace activities for protecting and educating children, and raise standards
  • Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
  • Understanding of high-quality teaching and learning implementation
