Job summary

The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust is seeking a full-time KS2 class teacher for October 2026 to June 2027. You will work under the Headteacher to educate and safeguard a class of children in line with the National Curriculum and school policies, delivering engaging lessons and monitoring pupil welfare.

Candidates should hold QTS, have KS2 experience, and be committed to high standards of teaching and safeguarding. The role is based in Southam with a temporary contract.

Qualifications

• QTS with primary UK teaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver KS2 lessons.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the education and welfare of a KS2 class under the Headteacher's direction.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.

Job description

Under the lead of the Headteacher, you will take responsibility for the education and welfare of a class of children in accordance with the current School Teachers' Pay and Conditions document, Teacher Standards and having due regard to the requirements of the National Curriculum and school policies.

The role is full time, working between October 2026 and June 2027. and will be in a lovely class in Key Stage 2 .
