Salary: £31,650 - £49,084 Annually (MPS/UPS)

About the role:

As a Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting and guiding students through their educational journey. You will lead a class team, contribute to the school's inclusive ethos, and help shape the future of learners with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons based on student needs.
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and development.
• Provide support and guidance on educational, social, and emotional issues.
• Foster student well-being and academic growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents, governors, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with school leadership and peers on curriculum and teaching methods.
• Promote and maintain discipline, safety, and a supportive learning environment.
• Participate in school events, administrative duties, and staff development sessions.
• Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and data protection.
• Mentor and support new teachers, set targets, and contribute to staff development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Bachelor s degree (Master s degree desirable)
• Training or qualifications in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Experience working with young people with additional needs
