A leading educational provision in Blandford Forum is seeking a dedicated Art Teacher for a specialist SEMH setting starting September 2025. This full-time role involves delivering creative art sessions and requires skills in managing challenging behaviors, alongside a passion for engaging students with SEMH needs.
Art Teacher (SEMH)
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a dedicated Art Teacher for a specialist SEMH School setting based in the Blandford Forum area.
Our client is a specialist educational provision for young people with complex social, emotional and mental health needs. They are in need of an experienced Art Teacher, trained at primary or secondary level, to join them from September 2025 to deliver creative and therapeutic art sessions to KS3 & KS4 pupils.
With the complex needs of the students, we are looking for individuals who are capable and enthusiastic to work in a challenging but highly rewarding environment.
The successful candidate will be working with students with behavioural difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, so prior experience within this field is essential. You will be supporting the children within the community as well as in the school setting.
