Job summary

Trinity C of E Primary Academy seeks a class teacher to lead learning, progress and wellbeing within a Church of England ethos. The role involves planning engaging lessons, high expectations and collaboration with teaching assistants and the SENDCo to remove barriers to learning.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the learning, progress and wellbeing of a class of pupils
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and aspiration
• Set high expectations for all learners
• Make teaching inclusive and responsive to individual needs
• Build a calm, respectful and purposeful classroom where pupils feel safe and confident
• Work closely with teaching assistants, the SENDCo and other professionals to remove barriers to learning
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Support pupils and families as part of the academy's service ethos
• Contribute to curriculum development and wider academy initiatives
