Job summary

Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust invites applications for a full-time class teacher on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2028, starting as soon as possible. Salary is on the TMS/UPS scales. Qualifications

• Be an excellent classroom practitioner.
• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding legislation and guidance.
• Ability to extract, analyse and evaluate data to drive improvement.
• Strong understanding of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• As class teacher, identify educational aims and objectives and create short and medium term plans.
• Prepare and teach a weekly timetable matched to the age and abilities of every pupil.
• Ensure classroom practice supports all school and Trust policies.
• Deliver the curriculum in an exciting and stimulating way that advances knowledge and skills.
