The working hours for this role are expected to be1.0 FTE. The start date for this role is01 January 2027.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Class Teacher to join our EYFS/Year 1 team, delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences that inspire children to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will plan and teach well-structured lessons, assess and monitor pupil progress, and create a stimulating classroom environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of every child. Working closely with colleagues, support staff, parents, and external agencies, you will help ensure that all pupils, including those with SEND, receive the support they need to thrive. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a broad and enriching curriculum, organise learning activities and educational visits, and promote children's independence, confidence, and wellbeing. We are looking for a skilled practitioner with strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, a commitment to inclusive education, and high expectations for achievement and behaviour. The ideal candidate will be a positive team player who can build strong relationships across the school community while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, safeguarding, and child-centred practice.
