Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Class SEND Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a dynamic school setting.

The successful candidate will develop personalised learning plans, adapt curricula for inclusivity, and work closely with SENDCo and parents to monitor progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher status with experience in SEND education.
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation, needs, and differentiation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons tailored to SEND students.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with SENDCo, support staff and parents.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students and families.
  • Promote positive behaviour and social development within the classroom and beyond.
