St. Philip’s CE Primary School, Hampton Road, Southport PR8 6SS, is seeking to appoint an inspiring and hardworking Classroom Teacher for the academic year September 2026 – August 2027.
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for education, who embodies Christian Values and is committed to helping every child shine. The ideal candidate will understand the science of learning, be dedicated to personal development, and model self-love and self-care.
The role involves working as part of a team, maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour, and making learning enjoyable. We value teachers with excellent subject knowledge, a commitment to CPD, and the ability to work collaboratively with parents. Experience in curriculum leadership and supporting pupil leadership groups is desirable.
The school is committed to safeguarding and expects all staff to share this commitment. The position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and appointment is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS, as well as checks against the Prohibition of Teachers List.
