Job description

We are currently seeking a Class Teacher to join a wonderful 2-form entry Primary School in the BS5 area starting from June.

This Primary School values providing a happy, safe, and supportive learning environment where children can achieve both academically and personally.

As part of a Trust, this school maintains its unique identity while working closely with other local schools to strengthen and create a successful community.

The Role

This is a full-time position for a Class Teacher to join the Year 2 team, covering MAT leave for an academic year.

The ideal candidate will be organised, creative, and enthusiastic. You should have strong Primary curriculum knowledge and hold high expectations for pupils to develop and be curious about their learning.

You will be expected to:

1. Work collaboratively with staff to provide the best learning environments.
2. Develop strong relationships with staff, pupils, and parents/carers.
3. Use creativity to plan engaging lessons.
4. Create a nurturing environment where children feel safe.
