Job summary

Sayes Court Primary School in Surrey is seeking a Class Teacher to join our vibrant, inclusive team. The role is full-time and permanent, with a start date ASAP. You will deliver the curriculum and support pupil progress across key stages, in collaboration with the SENCo and colleagues.

The salary ranges from £35,602 to £54,328 on the Main to Upper Pay Scale (Fringe). We offer a condensed school year, ongoing professional development, strong wellbeing support, free parking and family-friendly

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Evidence of effective continuous professional development.
  • Evidence of effective communication with a wide audience of stakeholders.
  • Experience of teaching in relevant Key Stage and/or subject area.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability of the pupils.
  • Be accountable for attainment, progress and outcomes of all pupils in your class.
  • Collaborate with the SENCo to support SEN arrangements.

We are seeking a Class Teacher to join our team at Sayes Court Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability of the individuals and classes you teach, preparing and developing teaching materials, programmes and pastoral arrangements as appropriate.
  • Be accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of all pupils within your class/es, planning effectively to ensure that pupils have the opportunity to meet their potential.
  • Be aware of pupils’ capabilities, planning effectively to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and work in collaboration with the SENCo to make an appropriate contribution to and participate in the preparation, implementation, monitoring and review of SEN Support Arrangements.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Ability to evidence effective continuous professional development.
  • Ability to evidence effective communication with a wide audience/range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of teaching in relevant Key Stage and/or subject area.
