Job summary

A Derby area based special school is seeking strong Class Leads or unqualified teachers for ongoing cover opportunities. This role is ideal for graduates or those training to become teachers, HLTA’s ready to step up, or experienced assistants aiming to enter teaching.

Responsibilities include supervising and delivering work set by the class teacher, keeping students on task, and maintaining high behavioural and learning standards when the teacher is absent. SEND experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HLTA Level or Degree preferred
• SEND setting experience is beneficial

A special School based in the Derby area are recruiting for strong class leads or unqualified teachers on an as-and-when-needed basis. Ideal for those currently attending University or other academic studies.

These positions are an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain classroom experience before completing teacher training, for HLTA's who are ready to step up, experienced Teaching Assistants to take the next step in their journey to teaching or even qualified teachers who do not wish to plan/mark etc.
