Job summary

Wiltshire Council is seeking a Class Instructor who can lead enjoyable, safe exercise classes and guide participants toward their fitness goals. The role is casual with no fixed hours, offering flexibility to match council needs and the instructor's availability.

You will deliver engaging workouts, answer user queries, and support participants of all fitness levels in a welcoming, inclusive environment while adhering to safety standards and council guidelines.

Salary: £18.58 - £19.84 per hour (inclusive of 10% market supplement)

Additional Payments: An additional PREP rate of 25% or more will be received dependent on the class type and class enrolment

Hours per week: Casual - zero hours

As a Class Instructor, you will be teaching safe, fun, and effective exercise classes, as well as helping customers with their queries regarding their fitness goals. Further responsibilities include creating engaging workouts, supporting participants of all fitness levels and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

We are seeking a qualified fitness instructor with a passion for exercise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with participants on a personal level.

As a casual worker, you'll have no fixed hours and will work on an as‑needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the Council is not obliged to offer you work.
