Job summary

Solus Accident Repair Centres Company is seeking a HGV Class C Driver on a 12 month contract. You will collect and deliver vehicles, work to tight deadlines, and support a team of drivers under the Transport Controller to get customers back on the road quickly.

Ideal candidates have experience driving HGV class 2 vehicles, are customer-focused, and can handle pace and pressure in an accident repair environment while maintaining accuracy and organisation throughout the handover process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience driving HGV class 2 vehicles and within recovery.
• Customer-focused with strong handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver vehicles within agreed timescales and manage payments per procedures.
• Complete damage forms, take photos, and obtain customer signatures.
• Highlight defects during loading/unloading and report to Production Manager.
• Ensure all jobs are referenced and filed on completion.
