Job summary

Solus Accident Repair Centres in the United Kingdom is seeking a Class C HGV Driver to support our collision repair operations. You will collect and deliver vehicles, liaise with the Transport Controller, and help get customers back on the road quickly.

The role suits someone with prior HGV experience, a strong customer focus, and a commitment to accuracy and teamwork in a busy workshop environment. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role with relevant skills.
• Experience driving HGV class 2 vehicles and within recovery.
• Customer-focused with strong customer handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver cars within agreed timescales and ensure top customer service.
• Complete forms noting damage and accident-related issues, with customer signature.
• Highlight defects during loading/unloading and report to Production Manager.
• Ensure all jobs are referenced and filed on completion.
