Job summary

Manpower is recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to join a waste and recycling operation in Carryduff. This is a secure, long-term role within an essential industry.

You will operate HGV Class 2 vehicles on scheduled routes, perform vehicle checks, and ensure compliance with transport and environmental regulations while delivering a professional, customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Operating HGV Class 2 vehicles to complete daily collection routes
• Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle checks
• Ensuring safe loading, transportation and tipping of waste materials
• Completing route sheets, delivery notes and digital records accurately
• Reporting vehicle defects and maintaining vehicle cleanliness
• Carrying out collections from commercial and industrial sites
• Supporting manual and mechanical loading/unloading activities
• Using equipment such as tail lifts, pallet trucks and handling aids
• Sorting and segregating waste in line with regulations
• Adhering to driver hours, tachograph and health & safety requirements
• Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
