Job summary

Backline Yeovil is seeking an experienced tipper driver for Evercreech/Yeovil area. The role involves operating a Class 2 vehicle, loading and delivering materials to construction sites, and performing daily vehicle checks. A strong knowledge of UK roads and a reliable, professional approach are essential.

We offer varied hours (full-time, part-time or ad hoc) with weekly pay, holiday pay and pension. Training and development opportunities are available; driving experience in construction

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2/C category licence.
• Experience operating tipper trucks is essential.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months HIAB experience.
• Experience in builders merchants or construction deliveries is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and routes.
• Reliable and professional approach required.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced tipper driver for a client of our in Evercreech, Will be 7am starts

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 vehicle


• Safely load and unload materials


• Complete deliveries to customer and construction sites


• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks


• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely


• Complete all required delivery paperwork


• Provide excellent customer service


• Follow all health and safety procedures

What Were Looking For

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence


• Valid Tipper experience


• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card


• Minimum HIAB experience 6 months


• Previous experience within builders merchant or construction deliveries is advantageous


• Good knowledge of UK roads


• Reliable and professional approach
