Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Tipper Driver Class 1 & 2 based in Newhaven. Shifts include Days (06:00 start), Nights (18:00 start) and occasional Saturdays, with immediate starts and weekly pay. Possible temp-to-perm opportunities and flexible work patterns.

Holders of HGV Class 1 or 2 licences, DCPC and a Digital Tachograph card are required, with up to 6 penalty points and at least 1 year of HGV experience. Training provided for those new to tipping vehicles.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence required.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Minimum 1 year HGV1/LGV1 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to local sites.
• Adhere to time-sensitive schedules and collection times.
• Provide high standard of customer service at all times.

Tipper Driver Class 1/ Class 2 (C+E, HGV1, LGV1,CATC,HGV2,LGV2) - Days, Nights or Weekends - Newhaven

• Based in Newhaven


• Days 0600am / Nights 1800pm / Occasional Saturdays


• Possible Temp to Perm


• Pay Rate: Starting at £17.00ph (10 hrs min) Paid weekly

Skills and Experience Required- Tipper Driver Class 1/Class 2(C+E, HGV1, LGV1, Class 1, HGV2, CATC, Class 2)

• A valid HGV Class 1/Class 2 Licence


• A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC)


• A valid Digital Tachograph card


• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence


• A minimum of 1 years' experience driving HGV1/ LGV1 vehicles


• Previous experience operating Tipper vehicles (not essential)


• A good level of English (spoken, written, and understood)
