Job summary

Driver Hire Mansfield are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver to join one of our clients in Mansfield. This is a terrific temp-to-perm opportunity, starting on agency with the aim of moving to permanent employment.

The role involves driving a Class 2 skip vehicle, delivering and collecting skips, completing vehicle checks, and providing a professional service to customers. Mon-Fri, 07:00 starts.

Qualifications

• In-date Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• In-date CPC.
• In-date Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous skip driving experience.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 skip vehicle.
• Deliver and collect skips from customers/sites.
• Ensure skips are safely loaded, transported and positioned.
• Complete vehicle checks and paperwork.
• Provide a professional service to customers.

Driver Hire Mansfield are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Skip Driver to join one of our clients in Mansfield. Due to continued expansion, our client is looking to grow their team with a reliable and experienced driver.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity, giving you the chance to start on agency with the opportunity to move across to a permanent position with the client.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 skip vehicle
• Delivering and collecting skips from customers and sites
• Ensuring skips are safely loaded, transported and positioned
• Completing relevant vehicle checks and paperwork
• Providing a professional service to customers
• Monday to Friday working
• 07:00am starts
• Full-time, ongoing work with the opportunity to become permanent

While working through Driver Hire:

• Assignment rates from £17.75 per hour
• Overtime paid after 8 hours
• Weekly pay
• Ongoing work with a view to permanent employment

Once permanent with the client:

• Salary from £37,500 per year
• Based on a 50-hour working week
• Opportunity to become part of a growing team

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold an in-date Category C (Class 2) driving licence
• Have an in-date CPC
• Have an in-date Digital Tachograph Card
• Have previous skip driving experience
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be reliable, professional and committed to providing excellent customer service
