Job summary

Driver Hire Teesside is seeking an experienced Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver for a civil engineering project in Stockton-on-Tees. The role requires previous road sweeper experience and a valid CSCS card.

Driver Hire Teesside are recruiting an experienced Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver for a civil engineering customer based in Stockton-on-Tees.

We are specifically looking for someone with previous road sweeper experience who is comfortable operating within construction and civil engineering environments.

A valid CSCS card is essential for this position.

The role will involve:

• Driving and operating a Class 2 road sweeper
• Sweeping roads, construction sites and surrounding areas
• Safe operation of the vehicle and sweeping equipment
• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Working around active construction and civil engineering sites
• Liaising with site teams and following site instructions
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism

Requirements:

• Valid Category C / Class 2 licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous road sweeper experience – essential
• Valid CSCS Card – essential
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time regulations
• Strong awareness of site and vehicle safety
• Reliable and professional approach
