Driver Hire Teesside is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver for a civil engineering client in Stockton-on-Tees.

The role involves operating a Class 2 road sweeper on roads and sites, performing safety checks, paperwork, and liaising with site teams. A valid CSCS card, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and prior road sweeper experience are essential. The position offers frontline driving with safety emphasis in a civil engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C / Class 2 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Previous road sweeper experience - essential.
• Strong understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time regulations.

Responsabilités

• Driving and operating a Class 2 road sweeper.
• Sweeping roads, construction sites and surrounding areas.
• Safe operation of the vehicle and sweeping equipment.
• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Working around active construction and civil engineering sites.
• Liaising with site teams and following site instructions.
• Completing relevant paperwork.
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.
