Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Class 2 refuse driver for a night shift in the Lancing area. The role covers a set route that includes Haywards Heath, Crawley and Steyning, collecting recyclable material from businesses and commercial properties.

You will require a valid Class 2 (LGV) license, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph card, plus dustcart driving experience. A positive attitude and punctuality are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2/C (LGV) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card are required.
• Dustcart driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on a set route in the Lancing area.
• Collect recyclable material from businesses and commercial properties on the route.
• Work a night shift (18:00 until finish, typically 8–9 hours) with occasional Saturday hours.

Job description

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Class 2 refuse driver in the Lancing area, to fulfil a night shift.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with the chance for Saturday hours very occasionally. the hours are 1800 until job finish, which will be expected to be after 8/9 hours.

The route will include a set area to include Haywards Heath, Crawley and Steyning.

You will be collecting recyclable material from businesses and commercial properties on a set route.
