Job summary

The Best Connection in Halifax (HX1) is recruiting a Class 2 (LGV C) Refuse Driver for ongoing, full-time opportunities. Early start at 05:00 with weekly pay and permanent prospects for the right candidate.

Role involves driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle, completing daily routes safely, and working with loaders while performing vehicle checks and upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 Licence (Category C) required.
• CPC Qualification Card required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) refuse vehicle.
• Completing daily collection routes safely and efficiently.
• Working alongside loaders as part of a team.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and adhering to health & safety procedures.
• Providing a professional service to the public.

Pay Rates
