Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment is seeking a Class 2 refuse driver for Farnham to operate a refuse collection vehicle and support a loading crew. You will perform daily route collections, conduct vehicle checks, and work safely with road users.

You must hold a Class 2 licence with UK DCPC and Digi-tacho, and have at least 6 months of commercial driving experience. WTD compliance and a strong team ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 12 months Class 2 experience is essential.
• Must have UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• License may show up to 6 points; no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Collect refuse from various local areas daily.
• Work with loading crew (handballing).
• Assist with manual movement of domestic wheelie bins.
• Maintain safety around pedestrians, traffic and road users.
• Complete vehicle checks at start and end of shift.
