Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are recruiting a Class 2 Driver in Oxford to operate a refuse collection vehicle across residential and commercial routes. Immediate starts available and you will work with loaders on various shifts, covering am, domestic, and pm slots. You must hold a Class 2 licence, DCPC, and a Digi-tacho, with up to 6 points accepted.

UK resident preferred. Expect weekly pay, with overtime opportunities and on-site safety procedures to follow.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Driving Licence held for 6 months with up to 6 points.
• UK DCPC card and valid Digi-tacho card required.
• New Pass Drivers welcome to apply.
• Commitment to working safely and within regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on residential and commercial routes.
• Work alongside loaders to complete routes efficiently.
• Move wheelie bins as required during collections.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Adhere to WTD, drivers’ hours and waste duty of care regulations.
