Job summary

Fifth Wheel Recruitment seeks a Class 2 driver for outdoor routes in Bridgend. You will operate a refuse collection vehicle and assist with loading, with emphasis on safety and efficiency. A 6-month Class 2 background and UK DCPC + Digi-tacho are required.

Endorsements DD/TT/DR/CD/IN are not accepted; WTD compliance is expected. Role involves regular shifts, with paid holiday as part of pay, and potential overtime; endorsements and valid driving documents must be current.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence and at least 6 months commercial driving experience.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• Endorsements DD, TT, DR, CD or IN are not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Collect refuse from different local areas daily.
• Assist loaders when required and help with manual movement of bins.
• Maintain safety around pedestrians, traffic and road users.
