Job summary

A Class 2 Driver role in Bridgend with outdoor work and manual handling requirements. Pay ranges from £15.65 to £24.71 per hour, with overtime after 7.5 hours. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30, with PPE provided and weekly pay.

Experience in waste logistics is beneficial. Applicants should have a valid UK DCPC and Digi-tacho card, and meet licensing points criteria. Visa or relocation assistance is not available.

Qualifications

• Have Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially.
• Must have UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Up to 6 points may be accepted; DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements not accepted.
• Professional driver should be up to date with WTD regulations.
• Resident in the UK and able to travel to site for shifts; visa/relocation not provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle.
• Collect refuse from different local areas each day.
• Work alongside loaders when required.
• Assist with manual movement of domestic wheelie bins.
• Work safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users.

Job description

Job Title: Class 2 Driver - Driving and Loading role. Working outdoors in all weathers. Manual Handling required.

Location: Bridgend

Pay Rate: £15.65 to £24.71 per hour

Overtime after 7.5 hours: £22.05 + £2.66 holiday pay = £24.71 per hour

Shifts: Monday to Friday (07:00 -15:30)

Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial.

About you:

Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
