Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting a Class 2 Refuse Driver to operate Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) vehicles for bin collections across the Lincolnshire area, based out of Scunthorpe. You will drive, assist with loading, and work closely with a driver’s mate to complete routes safely.

Shifts run in the early morning, with work every other Saturday. A CPC/tachograph card is required, and full training is provided; the role offers a permanent position after a successful trial period and

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence (Category C) is required.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card are essential.
• Previous experience is preferred but not essential; full training is provided.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic are important.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle for refuse collection routes.
• Operate Roll-on Roll-off equipment on RoRo vehicles.
• Carry out bin collections and assist with skip deliveries/collections.
• Work as part of a team, with a driver's mate helping with loading/unloading.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.

Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) vehicles carrying out bin collections across the Lincolnshire area, based out of

The Role:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle for refuse collection routes
• Operating Roll-on Roll-off equipment
• Completing

bin collections, as well as skip deliveries and collections

• Working as part of a team, supported by a

driver's mate assisting with loading and unloading on bin rounds

• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Shift Pattern:

• Day shifts

04:00am - 06:00am

• Includes

working every other Saturday

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience is

preferred but not essential - full training can be provided

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

£14.35 per hour

Overtime after 45 hours: £21.52 per hour
