Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for a Class 2 driver to cover sickness with a strong chance of temp-to-perm for the right candidate. You will collect industrial bins from private addresses using a Class 2 vehicle and work a Monday–Friday pattern with early starts.

Attendance and reliability are essential. Pay starts at £14.82 per hour PAYE and increases to £15.33 after 12 weeks, with 37 hours minimum per week and overtime available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (CAT C) licence required.
• Prefer rear steer and refuse collection experience.
• No more than 6 points on your licence (no DD/DR).

Responsibilities

• Drive the Class 2 vehicle to collect industrial bins from private addresses.
• Sickness cover with potential temp-to-perm for reliable attendance.
• Shift pattern fixed Mon-Fri with early starts and overtime optional.

Job description

Pay £14.82ph increasing to £15.33ph after 12 weeks

This position is to primarily cover sickness but there is a strong possibility of a temp to perm for the right candidate that shows willing and good attendance.

Duties will include driving the Class 2 vehicle for the collection of industrial bins from private addresses.

We will be looking for the right candidate to start on Monday 19th October ongoing.

Minimum 37 hours per week with optional overtime available.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday

• 05:00am to 13:00pm Monday to Thursday
• 12:30pm finish on Fridays

Pay Rates:

£14.82ph PAYE Monday to Friday

Increases to £15.33 after 12 weeks

What you need:

• Full UK Class 2 (CAT C) Licence
• Preferably rear steer and refuse experience
• Willing attitude and good attendance
• No more than 6 points on your licence (No DD/DR)
