Job summary

The Best Connection in Halifax (HX1) is recruiting for a Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our established client base. You will drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle, complete daily routes, and work with loaders to ensure safe operations.

Early start at 05:00, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay and permanent opportunities for the right candidate. Applicants must hold a valid Class 2 licence, CPC card and Digital Tachograph, with a solid understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) Licence
• CPC Qualification Card required
• Digital Tachograph Card required
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Category C) refuse vehicle
• Complete daily collection routes safely and efficiently
• Work alongside loaders as part of a team
• Carry out vehicle checks and adhere to health & safety procedures
• Provide a professional service to the public
