Job summary

The Best Connection Group - Manchester is recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for our client based in Openshaw. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers regular work with potential for a permanent position within a well-established retailer.

Pay starts at £17.51 per hour with time-and-a-half after 39 hours, double time on Sundays, and 10-hour shifts in a 5 on, 3 off pattern. Start times range 21:00–01:00; ongoing full-time work available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good knowledge of UK road laws and driver hours regulations

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to the client's retail stores across the Manchester area
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and efficiently
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Safe and compliant operation of a Class 2 vehicle

Pay & Working Hours

• £17.51 per hour basic rate. Time 1/2 after 39 hours worked.
• Double time on Sundays (£35.03 per hour)
• Temp-to-perm position
• 5 on, 3 off shift pattern
• Start times between 21:00 - 01:00
• Approximately 10-hour shifts
• Ongoing, full-time work
