Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver to join our busy delivery team in Sittingbourne. You will transport goods safely, complete deliveries and provide a professional service to customers.

You will perform vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, assist with loading/unloading, complete PODs, and keep the transport team informed of delays. A valid Category C licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card are required, with previous Class 2 delivery experience and strong

Qualifications

Valid Category C driving licence and Driver CPC.
Digital tachograph card required.
Previous Class 2 delivery experience preferred.
Experience completing POD records is essential.
Safe and responsible driving approach required.
Strong organisation and communication skills.
Polite, helpful manner with customers.

Responsibilities

Complete deliveries and collections according to the daily schedule.
Carry out vehicle checks before each shift and report faults promptly.
Ensure loads are secure and goods are handled carefully.
Assist with loading and unloading where required, following safe working procedures.
Accurately complete delivery paperwork and obtain PODs.
Keep the transport team informed of delays or delivery issues.
Follow drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety requirements.
Maintain a clean vehicle and represent the company professionally.
