Job summary

Select Appointments is seeking a Class 2 Multidrop Driver – HGV / Category C in Norwich and other locations. The role involves safe transport of goods, multiple deliveries and collections, loading/unloading, and ensuring on-time deliveries with excellent customer service.

You'll drive a Class 2 vehicle, complete PODs, perform daily vehicle checks, and comply with DVSA regulations. This is a full-time 40-hour week with steady work and varied routes across the UK.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV/LGV licence.
• Driver CPC / DCPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 HGV / Category C vehicle safely and professionally.
• Completing multidrop deliveries and collections to multiple customers.
• Following planned delivery routes and schedules.
• Loading, securing and unloading goods safely.
• Completing delivery paperwork, PODs and other documentation.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection locations.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Complying with DVSA, Road Transport and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and vehicle cleanliness.

Class 2 Multidrop Driver – HGV / Category C

Location: Norwich & Various Locations
Salary: From £14.00 per hour – higher rates available for Class 1 drivers
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Monday to Friday / 40 hours week

Our client is a growing and professional logistics and transport company providing reliable delivery and collection services to customers across the UK. We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Class 2 HGV Driver / Category C Driver to join the team. This is a multidrop driving role, ideal for drivers who enjoy a varied working day and delivering excellent customer service.

As a Class 2 Multidrop Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, completing multiple deliveries and collections throughout your assigned route.

Your typical day may include:

• Driving a Class 2 HGV / Category C vehicle safely and professionally.
• Completing multidrop deliveries and collections to multiple customers.
• Following planned delivery routes and schedules.
• Loading, securing and unloading goods safely.
• Completing delivery paperwork, PODs (Proof of Delivery) and other relevant documentation.
• Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection locations.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Complying with DVSA, Road Transport and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism and vehicle cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV/LGV driving licence.
• A valid Driver CPC / DCPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver or Multidrop Driver is preferred.
• Experience with multidrop deliveries and collections is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
