Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in Class 2 driving is preferred.

Job description

Overview

Class 2 Multidrop Delivery Driver – Location: Belfast. Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour, overtime paid at 1.5 rate. Hours: Monday- Friday 6-2:30pm, every other Saturday 6-2:30pm. Start Date: Immediate. Job Type: Temp to Perm.

We are currently looking for an experienced reliable HGV Class 2 Driver. Someone with great communications skills who can liaise with the transport office and the customer as well as giving them exceptional service. You will be responsible for the transportation of goods, much of which is fresh produce.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely multi drop delivering of refrigerated fresh produce throughout Northern Ireland and into the South following established routes.
• Delivering excellent Customer Service to customers
• Loading and unloading of goods
• Following safe yard procedures
• Following the schedule for the day
• Making sure goods are delivered safely and efficiently
• Following company logging systems

Requirements

• A clean valid HGV Class 2 Drivers Licence
• A digital tachograph card and a Drivers full CPC card
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland including a minimum of 1 year\'s experience in Class 2 driving
• This role requires someone with absolute flexibility due to the nature of the business
• Great verbal communication skills
• The ability to demonstrate excellence in customer service
