Job summary

Reynolds Food Group in Kilmarnock, Scotland, is seeking a dedicated HGV driver for a 48-hour week (5 days over 7) with Saturday work. You will handle and deliver fresh, chilled and frozen products, ensuring on-time deliveries and adherence to safety standards.

The role is physically demanding but rewarding, and DBS/DVLA checks will be conducted. Salary is £37,360 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package and a strong emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manually loading & unloading of fresh produce and taking responsibility for loading and unloading customer orders with care.
• Ensure all vehicle checks are completed and recorded prior to departing, and any defects are reported to distribution.
• Check and confirm delivery accuracy against PDA/paperwork.
• Communicate product/invoice discrepancies to the Company.
• Complete and return all Company and customer paperwork to the required standard.

Duties will include but are not limited to.

• Manually loading & unloading of fresh produce being responsible for Loading and unloading of customers’ orders with care and attention.
• Ensure all vehicle checks are completed and recorded prior to departing, and any defects are reported to distribution.
• Checking and confirming delivery accuracy against PDA/paperwork
• Communicate all product/invoice discrepancies to the Company.
• Complete and return of all Company and customer paperwork to the required standard.

All Applicants will undergo a DBS and a DVLA licence check.

To be successful in your application, you will need to have the following.

• Have held a HGV Class 2 Licence for minimum of 1 year
• No major convictions such as DR'S, DD'S, INS and no more than 6 Points on license.
• Digi Tacho card
• Driver CPC card
• Possess exceptional Customer Service skills.
