Driver Hire Teesside is recruiting for a Class 2 Mixer Driver in the Teesside area. This temp-to-perm role offers full-time hours with an immediate start and full training provided.

You will drive cement mixer vehicles, deliver to customer sites, and operate outdoors in all weather. Training spans two weeks with ongoing support and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Driver Hire Teesside are currently recruiting Class 2 Mixer Drivers for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a busy transport operation in the Teesside area.

This is an immediate-start role and would suit reliable Class 2 drivers looking for long-term work, full training and the opportunity to progress into permanent employment.

The Role

• Driving Class 2 cement mixer vehicles
• Delivering concrete to customer sites
• Working across several vehicle types, with an allocated vehicle for regular use
• Setting up equipment on site to complete deliveries
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Keeping the vehicle clean and well presented
• Following site rules and health & safety procedures
• Representing the business professionally at customer sites

The role is hands-on and will involve working outside, although full training will be provided.

Training

• Full two-week training period provided
• Support given to all new starters regardless of previous mixer experience
• Temp-to-perm role reviewed throughout a 12-week period
• Feedback provided throughout the assignment

Requirements
