Job summary

VP Rail is seeking a Class 2 LGV Driver to support Groundforce operations across depots, customer sites and suppliers. You will deliver and collect equipment, perform safety checks, and maintain accurate tachograph records while upholding company policies and protecting assets.

The role may include occasional night outs and requires a customer-focused, safety-driven approach with good communication and local area knowledge. Training and ongoing development are provided by VP Rail.

Qualifications

• Class 2/C category license is essential.
• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card are essential.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect equipment to/from customers, suppliers and VP businesses safely and on time.
• Ensure DVSA regulations and daily defect checks are followed.
• Inspect, load and secure equipment, keeping tachograph records up to date.
