Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an HIAB driver for Wickes in Warrington. You will be trained for the HIAB licence if needed, operate a class 2 HIAB vehicle, and ensure accurate, timely delivery with strong customer service. DBS checks will be required for successful applicants.

The role runs 39 annualised hours per week, Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00, with occasional cover for annual leave or sickness from Tuesday to Saturday when required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• HIAB licence (ALLMI or equivalent) advantageous but training provided.
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• DBS check will be required for successful candidates.
• No disqualifying endorsements within the last 5 years (DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, TT99).

Responsibilities

• Move and deliver customers’ products accurately and on time.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service to customers.
• Deliver bulk items to customer homes using a class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores.

You will be contracted to work 39 annualised hours per week, on a Monday to Friday schedule with 07:00 am start times, with occasional cover for annual leave or sickness on Tuesday to Saturday when required.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products
• Providing excellent face to face customer service to customer
• As required delivery of bulk items to customer homes using a class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
• HIAB licence (ALLMI or equivalent) is advantageous but not necessary as training can be provided
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
