Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates is seeking a Class 2 HIAB Driver for a Reading, RG7 area role. You will deliver and collect goods, operate a HIAB safely and maintain accurate delivery documentation. A valid Class 2 HGV licence and HIAB certification are essential.

The position offers £18.00 per hour, full-time permanent employment with pension and parking facilities at the site. Applicants should be able to commute to Reading or relocate as required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections, following customer and site-specific instructions.
• Provide a professional and reliable service when representing the company at customer sites.
• Operate the HIAB safely, including the hook attachment, in line with relevant procedures.
• Ensure activities at the depot and customer sites comply with health and safety requirements.
• Complete all required delivery and driver documentation accurately, including tachograph records.
• Report any delivery issues, discrepancies or other concerns promptly.
• Assist with yard duties, including loading, unloading, stock organisation and general depot support when required.
• Work collaboratively with the depot team to maintain smooth daily operations and a safe, tidy working environment.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Keep the vehicle clean, organised and compliant with company and legal requirements.
• Ensure loads are secured safely using appropriate techniques, including ratchet straps.

The Role

As a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, providing a professional service to customers and supporting the wider depot team when required. The role requires a valid HIAB licence with hook attachment, along with experience in safe loading and securing of goods.

Requirements

Essential

• Ability to reliably commute to Reading, Berkshire, or relocate before starting

Desirable

• Previous experience delivering to customer sites
