Job summary

Intrepid Global Limited is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our commercial waste collection team. You will be responsible for safely operating waste collection vehicles and carrying out commercial waste collections from customer sites in compliance with company procedures and legal requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class 2 HGV licence, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card, with solid knowledge of UK road regulations and experience operating waste collection

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Previous HGV driving experience.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and daily defect checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 HGV waste collection vehicles.
• Carry out scheduled commercial waste collections and deliveries.
• Collect and transport general, recyclable and other commercial waste in accordance with procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks and report defects or maintenance issues.
• Follow designated routes and collection schedules.
• Complete all required paperwork, electronic records and waste documentation accurately.
