Sweeptech is hiring experienced Class 2 HGV Road Sweeper drivers to cover the Ely area in Cambridgeshire on day and night shifts. Typical hours are 50 per week with overtime and weekend work paid at competitive rates. The role requires a Category C license, CSCS card, and DCPC; prior road sweeper driving can be a bonus.

Day driver salary is £40,976 per year and night driver £46,280 per year, with a 10 hour shift. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Qualifications

• Class C driving qualification.
• 1 year road sweeping experience essential.
• Blue CSCS card required.
• DCPC up to date.
• Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Operate one of Sweeptech's vehicles at customer sites in the Ely (Cambridgeshire) area collecting waste streams.
• Complete daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date and submitted daily per policy.
• Comply with traffic laws and regulations.
• Exceed customer expectations.
