Driver Hire Preston is seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV Recovery Truck Driver for Blackpool, Lancashire. You will attend breakdowns, load and transport vehicles, and deliver a professional roadside service. The role offers full-time, permanent work with competitive rates and modern equipment.

You should have a Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph card and a strong driving record. You will work independently at the roadside and communicate clearly with customers, control staff and other road

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence (Category C)
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card holder
• Clean driving record, with no major incidents
• Experience in vehicle recovery or roadside assistance preferred

Responsibilities

• Attend vehicle breakdowns and recovery jobs
• Safely load, secure and transport vehicles
• Carry out vehicle recoveries safely and professionally
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Keep recovery vehicles and equipment clean and serviceable
• Complete relevant job paperwork and records accurately
• Communicate professionally with customers, control staff and other road users
• Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements
