Job summary

Tomlin Personnel Ltd is seeking committed HGV Class 2 Drivers for night trunking duties based in Nottingham. Drivers will trunk across the UK to RDCs and manufacturing sites, with occasional hub runs and minimal handballing.

Shifts run Monday to Friday nights, starting roughly 17:00–19:00. Pay rates: £16.00 per hour PAYE, or £18.00 per hour via Umbrella; weekend rates apply. Candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC for Class 2, and a Digi card.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• CPC for Class 2 up to date.
• Digi card for Class 2 up to date.
• Be punctual and have a smart appearance.
• Represent the company professionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 HGV across the UK to RDCs, manufacturing sites or similar sites.
• Possible hub run work as required.
• Very limited or no handballing required.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and professional conduct at all times.

Our long established logistics client based inNottingham Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 2 HGV Driving Trunking work across the UK to RDC's, Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site across the UK. Also you may be required to Hub Run work as well, all work involves very limited or no handballing at all.

This is ongoing Monday to Friday work, start times around 1700pm to 1900pm each evening

Licence requirements:

• HGV Class 2 Licence
• Up to date CPC for your Class 2
• Up to date Digi card for your Class 2

You Must:

• Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
• Be punctual
• Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
• Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
• Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary

• Monday to Friday Nights per hour: £16.00 ph (PAYE), £18.00 ph (Inc Holiday Pay Via our Umbrella Paye)
• The above rates are either PAYE or Umbrella, please see above accordingly
• Weekend work paid at higher rates
